30 Days of Hygge

Since it’s November and winter is well on its way (has arrived in most of Europe) the art of Hygge is being welcomed as Scandinavians cozy up with loved ones. I’m going to share one thing everyday, that I did to increase Hygge in our home. It might be in the form of a picture, quote or a paragraph!

Hygge is not a thing to have but a feeling – the art of creating intimacy, of not only being present but enjoying, feeling the present.

My point of doing this is to create a better atmosphere at home for our children to feel more connected with us as parents (as opposed to the everyday ‘do this do that’ nagging). Hopefully it will carry onto regular daily life.
